Position: Part-time Academic – Fall 2019

Department:  Plant, Food, and Environmental Sciences

Pay Rate:  In accordance with the CUPE collective agreement

Work Assignment:   This Part-time Academic will teach Lectures for BIOA 2008 Plant Diversity for the period of September-December 2019.  The lecture is currently scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 14.35 – 15.55. The lab is scheduled for Fridays from 11.35-13.25.  The Part-time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, labs, test preparation and evaluation.  The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

At least one year experience in teaching in a postsecondary educational institution. Excellent oral, written communication skills, Collegiality and interpersonal skills. PhD in Biology, Plant Diversity or a related discipline OR Masters with two year experience in Plant Diversity or a related discipline.
