Given the growing concern over COVID-19 and its potential threat to Nova Scotia, SuperNOVA has put some contingency plans in place to ensure the safety of our participants and community. SuperNOVA will align with all ±«Óãtv University policies regarding the closure and limitation of programs.
Should any SuperNOVA or ±«Óãtv employees, or participants and families contract or suspect COVID-19, please take steps to self-quarantine and of any suspected illness so that we can keep our community informed.
Workshop Program Delivery:
All SN workshops and programs are cancelled until at least April 3rd, 2020.
Summer Camp 2020:
In the unlikely event that either a closure at ±«Óãtv or a government mandate causes SuperNOVA to cancel our summer camp programming, we will offer full refunds to all participants for the 2020 camp season.Â
All SuperNOVA instructors will be provided with specific training on hygiene practices for maintaining a healthy and safe classroom, as well as instituting increased sanitation of classrooms and hand-washing breaks during the day. SuperNOVA will strive to limit any possible exposure by following ±«Óãtv University's and the guidelines for sanitation, health and safety.Â
SuperNOVA will continue to monitor the situation closely, and inform parents/guardians of any changes to the summer schedule.
Online Resources & Engagement:
In order to keep our community connected with STEM during this time, SuperNOVA is committed to providing online learning resources for families and youth to explore! Follow to find accessible and fun online learning resources.
