Lindie Colp-Rutley  Human Resources
Lindie, this past year has flown by, and I can't believe it's coming to an end. It was really hard year for everyone, but thank you for being an awesome leader! Being on your team is an outstanding experience. I also appreciate that I can come to you with any issues or concerns and know that I can trust you to help solve the issue or direct me!

Matthew McKee     Department of Economics, Faculty of Science
Matthew has done a fantastic job volunteering with the ±«Óãtv Basketball team as the student manager, peer tutoring both ±«Óãtv and high school students and helping out in many ways with ±«Óãtv's Intramural program. I am happy to have known Matthew and I am excited to see what roles he takes on in the coming academic year!
Matthew McKee
Mary-Ann Rowlston    Financial Services
Mary-Ann has been an exceptional colleague throughout the past year. Despite the challenging circumstances presented by the pandemic, working with her was always filled with laughs. Even though the hiring chill has thawed, I look forward to continuing to work closely with you!
Chris Hattie
Lisa Holmes, Graeme Gunn, Jo Castillo, Jeff Lawton, Kristie Gillis, and Taylor Blaikie     Student Affairs, Communications Team
I want to express my sincerest gratitude to this amazing team for the incredible work they do and have done all throughout the pandemic to provide timely and important messaging across all of the division's communications platforms to ensure students have important information at the right time. This includes almost daily updates for International students navigating the ever-changing requirements to travel to Canada and NS, collaboration with Central CMC on key university-wide messaging, promoting Student Health & Wellness supports to students and the entire campus, enhancing the university's connection to students through the Dal Mobile app, contributing to the development of Dal's Digital Strategy, and most of all being an expert voice at different university tables and committees on the most effective ways to communicate to our students.

Bob Mann    University Secretariat
I’d like to send a shout-out to Bob Mann for his comedic genius! He has such a wonderfully witty approach to life, while still maintaining a professional attitude. I don’t know how he does it, but I feel blessed to have worked with him (and the rest of the small but powerful University Secretariat team) for two years, especially during the rigours of COVID. Thanks Bob for keeping us smiling throughout!
Ann Pyne
Student Accessibility Centre team     Student Accessibility Centre
Although the Accessibility Centre's team is best known for administering ±«Óãtv's Student Accommodation Policy, they bring much more to their roles - student advocacy, consultation on access matters, and training in assistive tech as just a few examples. In a year where the Centre experienced significant growth, and access became more prominent in discussions across the institution, Jen Davis, Carla Britten, Maria McNeil, Tressa Moore, Gillian MacDonald, Rebecca Koeller, and Lori Gagnon responded with unquestionable professionalism, grace and compassion.

Ade Adeyemi    Financial Services, Systems Team
I generally don't like singling out a person on the Finance team, as there are so many who deserve a shout-out. However, I will single out Ade as we are sorry to say he is leaving us and the University shortly for another opportunity. We hope he will return at some point. Not only have you done great work to support the team since the pandemic hit, but your enthusiasm and positive attitude throughout have been contagious. I have also benefited from some great conversations with you that have truly advanced my thinking and hopefully have helped me become a better leader. Thanks for that Ade !

Heidi Tracey Baillie    School of Health & Human Performance, Faculty of Health
Heidi is a Student Services Administrator in the School of Health & Human Performance. Even with extra challenges through COVID this past year, Heidi helps keep our HAHP train running! From quality student advising, to organizational leadership in complex course timetabling for online learning, to tedious degree audits for graduating students, and more, Heidi's diligent work ethic and quiet strength keep us all grounded and inspired! Kudos HTB!

Chady Chidiac    Procurement
If you've been lucky enough to work with Chady on a project then you know he is amazing. Over the past year he's helped our team navigate through several RFPs and RFQs and he's made the process smooth and enjoyable. He is solutions oriented and an absolute pleasure to work with. Thanks Chady and the Dal Procurement team!!

Courtney Bonner   Enterprise Application Services, ITS
Courtney has done a great job working on the HR EPAF project, hand in hand with HR, including creating a detailed description, videos and guide for the end-user with many different scenarios. I really appreciate her dedication on this.

The departments of Spanish and Latin American Studies, German and Russian Studies would like to say a big thank you to Katherine Stratton. Lindie Colp-Rutley    Human Resources
A big shout out to Lindie who leads the Data Analysis and System Management (DASM) team within Human Resources. The work in DASM is always a substantial undertaking but during the past 15 months it went to a new level. Implementing Cognos within HR, providing data for the collective bargaining process and work on the Accessibility Plan survey are just a few of the many items that have made the past year a bit more challenging. Great work Lindie, and thank you for all that you and the DASM team do.
