Congratulations to the recipients of the , announced yesterday (October 4).

Sylvia D. HamiltonÌýis a a Dal alum (LLD'01), honorary degree recipient (2001), and a longtime supporter of programs like the Transition Year Program and Schulich School of Law's Indigenous Blacks & Mi’kmaq Initiative. She is a professor in the University of King’s College School of Journalism.

Stephen Kimber is a Dal alum (BA'73) and taught in the University of King's College School of Journalism, Writing & Publishing from 1983-2021. He served as director three times and is the co-founder of King’s Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction program. 

Jacqueline Gahagan was a faculty member at ±«Óãtv for over 20 years in the Faculty of Health, held a variety of research scholar and and associate positions, and is currently the Associate Vice-President, Research at Mount Saint Vincent University.Ìý
