As we embark on a new academic year, I wanted to take a moment to extend my deepest gratitude for your unwavering commitment, hard work, and dedication throughout 2023 and beyond. Your individual and collective contributions are inspiring and will continue to shape the future of ±«Óãtv and its legacy in so many positive ways.
A new year offers us a chance reflect on the collective achievements and shared experiences that have strengthened the bonds of our university community and the friendships you've formed. Indeed, the past few years have been a testament to the resilience and strength of our university community. Your collective efforts have not only ensured the continuity of our academic mission but have also demonstrated the power of collaboration, collegiality, and teamwork — it has been a distinct privilege and an honour to have had the opportunity to work with so many of you over many years.
My sincerest and heartfelt thanks to everyone who has reached out since my news was shared last month that I will be stepping down from the Provost’s role. I am so very grateful for the many kind and thoughtful notes I've received. I will remain in my current capacity until the selection and successful onboarding of a new Provost and Vice-President Academic, and I am looking forward to what we might accomplish together in 2024. Â
Warmest wishes for a Happy New Year!
