Effective March 10, the Employment Requisition system has officially moved to Banner 9, to be more in line with other functionality in Dal Online. Â
The Employment Requisitions system has now been updated to Banner 9 with a new look that is in line with other functionality in Dal Online. Â
How does this impact users?
Employment Requisition pages have been updated to a modern interface, with some minor changes to the format and organization of the pages. Â
Some dynamic features have been enabled to improve the user experience:Â
- It’s now easier to sort and filter records with dynamic column headers. Â
- Required field asterisks are now dynamic as well, displaying the required fields in real time based on the reason and the data entered in the form. Â
- To facilitate this functionality, the reason section has been moved to the top of the form.Â
The core functions of the Employment Requisition system have not changed. For example, the way users navigate to the system, the data entry, and the approval queue will all stay the same.Â
You can visit on the People and Culture myDal site for more information about how to use the new system. You can also navigate there by visiting and finding it under the Documentation heading. For any questions related to the requisition process, please contact jobeval@dal.ca. Â
