Academic and social activities available to graduate Nursing students include:
Scholars Seminars
Held twice monthly and available to students on site and by distance delivery. 
The seminars offer graduate students an opportunity to learn and discuss academic and professional issues with peers and faculty in a positive, enriching environment. The content for the series is developed in collaboration with students and faculty members.
The ±«Óãtv Association of Graduate Students (DAGS)
DAGS acts as an advocate for graduate students at the local, provincial, and national levels. It is also the owner of The Grad House Social Club. Through student societies, DAGS provides funding to support intellectual, political, social, and cultural interests of students. DAGS sponsors a number of events annually.
The Graduate Nursing Society
The Graduate Nursing Society represents graduate nursing students, promoting educational and social events.
Graduate students are invited to participate in the governance of the School of Nursing, with active roles on a number of School committees, including the Graduate Studies Committee, Graduate Student Affairs Committee, Full Faculty and Diversity Committee.
