A growing understanding

We have five specialized research units operating in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics. Between them, they’re tackling projects like:

  • role of orexigenic hormone ghrelin in insulin resistance and obesity
  • feeding and hormonal abnormalities in Alzheimer's mice models
