The Office of Commercialization and Industry EngagementÌý(OCIE) is pleased to announce two new Managing Directors.

Ben Goldberg – Managing Director, Industry Engagement and Customer Experience

Ben Goldberg joins OCIE with 10 years of experience in post-secondary education, focused on commercializing science and technology. Most recently, Ben was instrumental in the establishment and growth of the Creative Destruction Lab, both at ±«Óãtv University and at the University of Oxford. Ben holds a BA from Mount Allison University, and an MBA from ±«Óãtv. As Managing Director, Industry Engagement and Customer Experience, he will focus on further strengthening OCIE’s relationships with industry partners.

Adam Haller – Managing Director, Commercialization & Licensing

Adam takes on the Managing Director role after a brief period as OCIE’s Associate Legal Counsel. Adam joined ±«Óãtv after 10 years practicing intellectual property law at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP in Toronto. Adam brings significant experience as an advisor to companies of all sizes, in a range of industry sectors, on managing their IP strategies and portfolios and has appeared before various courts and tribunals in patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret disputes. Adam holds a BSc from Queen’s University and a JD from the University of Toronto.Ìý As Managing Director, Commercialization & Licensing, Adam is keen to help ±«Óãtv get its world leading technology to market and put to impactful use.
