WITS School of Law
WITS is an internationally ranked law school based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The academic staff, administration and students are made up of individuals who are focused on using legal skills to solve the world’s most difficult problems.
There are over 50 staff and more than 500 students. The achievements of staff, students and alumni are often spotlighted in the media as well as evidenced in the success of the various organisations that house School of Law Witsies. Alumni include Nelson Mandela, Adv George Bizos, Adv Thuli Madonsela and Patrice Motsepe. Their success is a testament to WITS' commitment to equipping students with critical skills and contributing to South Africa’s social and economic development.
