Pay Rate:Ìý $4881.00 (In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement)
Work Assignment:
A Part-time Academic is needed to teach the following course from August – September, 2016.
BUSI 5703 – Business Economics
This course covers both macro and micro Economics.Ìý Domestic and international markets, governments policy and central bank decisions present opportunities, challenges and threats to the operating competitive decisions of business owners, managers and investors.Ìý This course provides a framework for the economic analysis of these issues.

Requirements:
A PhD is required.Ìý Attributes required:Ìý The successful applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter and practical experience as well as established a consistent record of effective teaching.Ìý Excellent oral/written and presentation skills are required.Ìý The successful candidate must also be able to meet the School’s accrediting body (AACSB) academic or professional qualification requirements.
Duties included, but are not limited to:
The Part-time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation. They should be available for two hours per week for consultation with students.Ìý The part-time Academic reports to the Director of the Rowe School of Business.
