All instructors report to the Director of the School. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsibility for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including lectures, active learning class sessions, assignment preparation and evaluation; availability for two hours per week for consultation with students. Course syllabi are available upon request.
- Work Assignment: MGMT 1601 – Electronic Information Management (F)
The Sessional Instructor will teach one section of the course Electronic Information Management (MGMT 1601) in the Bachelor of Management Program during the 2019 Fall term (September- December, 2019).

Requirements of the Position: Post-graduate degree, preferably in information studies, and significant employment or research experience in Electronic Information Management. Prior undergraduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.
Ìý - Work Assignment: MGMT 1601 – Electronic Information Management (W)
The Sessional Instructor will teach one section of the course Electronic Information Management (MGMT 1601) in the Bachelor of Management Program during the 2020 winter term (January-April, 2020).
Requirements of the Position: Post-graduate degree, preferably in information studies, and significant employment or research experience in Electronic Information Management. Prior undergraduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.
Ìý - Work Assignment: MGMT 3602 – Professional Communication Skills (F)

The Sessional Instructor will teach one section of the course Professional Communication Skills (MGMT 3602) in the Bachelor of Management Program during the 2019 fall term (September – December, 2019).
Requirements of the Position: Post-graduate degree, preferably in information studies, and significant employment or research experience in Communications Skills Prior undergraduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.
Ìý - Work Assignment: MGMT 3602 – Professional Communication Skills (W)
The Sessional Instructor will teach one section of the course Professional Communication Skills (MGMT 3602) in the Bachelor of Management Program during the 2020 winter term (January-April, 2020).Ìý

Ìý - Work Assignment: MGMT 3603 - Beyond Google (W)
The Sessional Instructor will teach the online course Beyond Google (MGMT 3603) in the Bachelor of Management program during theÌý2020 winter term (January-April, 2020).
Requirements of the Position: Post-graduate degree, preferably in information studies, and familiarity with online learning systems.ÌýPrior experience teaching in an online format, and research experience in information retrieval, information sources, and/or information literacy would be an asset.

1.ÌýÌýÌý Work Assignment: INFO 6290 – Managing Research Data (F)
The sessional instructor will teach the elective Managing Research Data (INFO 6290) in the Master of Information (MI) program during the 2019 Fall term. The course is scheduled for one 3 hour period per week, September – December 2019.
Requirements of the Position: MLIS degree (or similar) and significant employment or research experience in Research Data or Data Management. Prior graduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.
2.ÌýÌýÌý Work Assignment:Ìý INFO 6800 – Archives (W)
The sessional instructor will teach the elective Archives course (INFO 6800) in the Master of Information Ìý(MI) program in the 2019 Winter term. The course is scheduled for one 3 hour period per week, January to April 2020.
Requirements of the Position: MLIS degree (or similar) and significant employment or research experience in archives. Prior graduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.
3.ÌýÌýÌý Work Assignment:Ìý INFO 6540 Data Management (W)
The sessional instructor will teach the elective in the Master of Information MI program during the 2020 Winter term. The course is scheduled for one 3 hour period per week, January – April 2020.
Requirements of the Position: MLIS degree (or similar) and significant employment or research experience in Data Management. Prior graduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.
