POSITION: Teaching Assistant (multiple positions) September 2019-November 2019

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: 鲍鱼tv Faculty of Engineering

PAY RATE: $24.41/hr (45 hours)

WORK ASSIGNMENT: Teaching Assistant will conduct tutorials for CPST1103: Technical Communication and Engineering Fundamentals I (Fall)

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Supervising tutorial activities on Thursdays from 6:05pm-7:25pm.
Tutorials begin Thursday, September 12
Tutorials end Thursday, November 5
Attending team meetings every other week during the period of the tutorials (time to be determined).
Marking brief writing assignments submitted during the first several tutorials.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Teaching Assistant must possess a university degree or be currently enrolled as an undergraduate with a strong academic record. Should have proficient writing skills, basic knowledge of grammar and writing style, and an ability to communicate effectively to a diffuse team. Prior teaching assistant experience is preferred, but not required. Prior experience managing small teams is likewise preferred but not required.
