Each day this week, we have highlighted resources related to ergonomics that can help you with your at-home work set up or your on-campus one.
Today's "ergo-nugget" is to connect you with the right resources if you have an injury or need specialized ergonomic supports. In the event that specialized equipment has been recommended by your treatment provider, there is a requirement to arrange a formal ergonomic assessment carried out by a licenced Occupational Therapist. The Accessible Employment unit of HR manages the process of arranging for a third-party Occupational Therapist to perform a formal ergonomic assessment. Additional medical documentation may be required, prior to arranging an assessment. For further information on this process, please contact Accessible.Employment@dal.ca
