For more than a decade, ±«Óătv has recognized faculties, departments and units that lead the way in workplace wellness through the .
This year, the Office of Advancement has won this Award, which recognizes a ±«Óătv workplace whose practices promote and support employee health, engagement, and well-being. The Award is aligned with the, [PDF] which is part of the Inclusive Excellence pillar within the university’s strategic plan, Third Century Promise.
Some of their many initiatives include:
·      Office space enhancements to foster both collaboration and allow for independent work
·      Dedicated time in schedules for professional development and wellness activities
·      Rallying around each other during a time of loss
·      Establishing working groups devoted to sexualized violence prevention and to anti-Black racism
·      Building on a purpose-driven workplace culture, making a difference for students, the Dal community, and beyond.
