Facilities Management
Due to a labour shortage, Facilities Management has very limited capacity to accommodate moves except in emergency situations. Work will be triaged as needed.
Here are a few things you can do to help:
- If you know you have several small moves upcoming, try and coordinate them all for one day
- Consider delaying your move
- When safe, consider moving the items yourself
- Use an outside vendor – contact procurement for a list of suppliers at procurement@dal.ca
Reminder, even when fully staffed, all moves require 10-15 working days’ notice and must be booked through FAMIS. There is only one truck dedicated to moves on campus.
We apologize for this disruption.
