±«Óãtv has three campuses in Halifax: Studley, Carleton, and Sexton. The Agricultural Campus is in Truro, Nova Scotia, and program-specific campuses are in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and Saint John, New Brunswick.

Weather in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia has four distinct seasons, and our weather can best be described as moderate. It rarely gets extremely hot or extremely cold and the daily temperature does fluctuate both by time of day and by your proximity to the ocean.

June to September

Summer is the time of year to enjoy our beautiful beaches, participate in watersports like sailing, surfing, and swimming, or take in one of the many festivals happening across the province.

September to December

0°C to 20°C

Fall in Nova Scotia is spectacular. It’s the perfect time to take a hike or a road trip to enjoy the fall colours.

December to March

Get outside and do some skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating, or stay cozy indoors and watch the snow fall. The average snowfall in Halifax is 154 cm (60 in) over the winter season.

March to June

0°C to 20°C

Temperatures begin to rise and the province starts to bloom. Visit a maple syrup farm and have a pancake breakfast or cycle among the apple blossoms in the Annapolis Valley.
