Take the first step towards your future by choosing your program and selecting the Truro campus on your application. After acceptance, complete the applicant information form, and a coordinator will contact you to guide you through the next steps. 

Residence guarantee

Are you a new, direct-from-high-school, domestic, or international student with a complete application on file by May 1st? You’re guaranteed residence! Dal also gives priority to Indigenous students, especially Mi’kmaq, African/Black students, especially Historical African, and Nova Scotian Students with (dis)abilities or ongoing medical conditions that significantly impact housing needs.

Recreation Management will be a new offering through the Truro Start program starting in 2025. More information coming soon!

Indigenous Student Access Pathway Program

Our Truro campus is also home to the Indigenous Student Access Pathway Program (ISAP), offering First Nations, Métis and Inuit students an opportunity to complete university courses in our culturally supportive and friendly campus community. The program is open to direct-from-high-school students, mature students and those with previous post-secondary experience who have some but not all of the prerequisites for standard admission.
