Horace E Read Memorial Lecture |
The Read Lecture series was inaugurated in 1975 to honour the memory of the late Horace E Read, OC, QC, who was Dean of ±«Óãtv Law School from 1950 until 1964, in recognition of his contribution to legal education and legal scholarship. FB Wickwire Memorial Lecture in Professional Responsibility and Legal Ethics |
This annual public lecture began in 1991 to honour the work and life of Frederick B (Ted) Wickwire. Mr. Wickwire worked tirelessly to ensure that Nova Scotia barristers maintained a level of uncompromised professionalism, and to develop legal aid in Nova Scotia.
