Minimum admission requirements
To be considered for admission to this program, you must meet minimum academic criteria:
- Completion of secondary school (Grade 12)
- Achievement of the minimum average for your program of choice.
- Completion of Grade 12 English (or equivalent course).
Admission to many ±«Óãtv programs is competitive. This means that meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

What you will learn
As a second field of study leading to a Minor, a Double Major, or a Combined Honours BA or BSc, the Canadian Studies program provides the opportunity to enrich and enhance your work on Canadian topics beyond your primary departmental home.
You'll take a group of core courses that study Canada from an interdisciplinary perspective and then choose from a long list of electives cross-listed in other departments throughout the university.
