JD/MHA (Master of Health Administration)

The four-year JD/MHA program is a collaborative effort between the Schulich School of Law and the at ±«Óãtv. The combined JD/MHA enables students to select classes leading to the degrees of Juris Doctor and Master of Health Administration.

Entry requirements

To gain acceptance onto this combined degree program, you must satisfy the entrance requirements of both our JD program and the . For admission, you must apply to both the School of Health Administration and the Schulich School of Law individually. Students applying for the MHA program may submit LSAT results in lieu of GMAT results.

Classes

The program consists of the following:

Year 1
  • Summer :
Year 2
Year 3

MHA: Students must complete the following courses in the HMA program in Year 3 and 4: .03,Ìý.03,Ìý.03,Ìý.03,Ìý.03Ìý

JD (in total 23-25 credit hours)

.025,Ìý.025,Ìý.05,Ìý.005,Ìý.005, and 12-14 credit hours of JD courses (inclusive of a major paper course) 

Year 4
.03: Healthcare Law, or .03: Health Law (if not completed previously), .02 and 21-23 credit hours of JD electives (inclusive of major paper course). 

Please note: The first and second years may be done in reverse order.
